2023 Pride month is coming!
June is Pride month!
This year is going by fast and it’s almost June. The past few months have been a tumultuous time for the LGBTQ+ community, especially with the proposed legislation going around.
It seems like most of the attacks have been against the trans community, but that is just a proxy battle against the LGBTQ+ community.
If you live in a state that’s openly hostile to the LGBTQ+ community, like I do, you probably feel this more than others. But the thing is, we’re still here, we’re still queer, and they better get used to it.
This coming month is going to focus on celebrating us, our community, and the things that make us unique. I know our community needs to support itself, but also have the support of our allies. I plan on highlighting some of these items during Pride Month and hope you’ll follow along.
